Our fees

15% Platform fee, including third party transaction fees

◦ Our one-time fee goes toward us running our platform: operations, team compensation, and marketing costs to optimize your campaigns and bring more supporters for your research. This fee also includes third party transaction fees which are secure third party applications/software we are using to receive money from your supporters and then transferring that money over to your lab. Some of these include but are not limited to: Stripe, Google/Apple pay, PayPal and Donorbox, and range between 5%-7%.

◦ Please note that for all international transactions, additional transaction and exchange fees might apply.

◦ If you are raising funds for an academic study, we have great news for you! We distribute our funds as a donation/gift that allows it to bypass the institutional overhead fee. Bare in mind this could vary from one institution to another, so we encourage you to discuss options with the appropriate person or department.
