Welcome to our Women in STEM Fund Award!

We are excited to feature your campaign on our platform and help you receive additional funding for your campaign.

Here is how you can participate:

  1. Submit your project below by answering 10 easy questions

  2. Set a minimum campaign goal of $5,000

  3. Meet or exceed your campaign goal within a 30-day period

Eligibility:

Participant(s) must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Have affiliation with a university, institution or organization.

  • Be enrolled in and/or have graduated from a STEM field.

  • Be able to verify identity with a government or university ID.

  • Verify laboratory and/or department’s address and bank account for issuing of funds.

 

Project selection criteria:

The winning campaign:

  • Must have a viable and significant hypothesis or ongoing project in, or in relation to, a scientific field.

  • Must meet or exceed a minimum campaign goal of $5,000 within 30 days.

  • Must submit a breakdown of how the awarded amount will be spent.

 

Award distribution:

  • The award will be extended to the recipient(s) based on project significance and campaign performance.

  • The award winner(s) will be determined by the team and advisors at WeSci on a case by case basis.

  • The award will be distributed as follows depending on the number of participants and projects deemed most impactful in a field of research:

    (A) Up to $1,000 to one winning campaign or

    (B) Up to $500 to two or more winning campaigns.
